Near Lockhart, Texas…light rain, early spring…5 min sketch. (7X10)  A Haiku of sorts.

  1. For a 5 minute sketch this is amazing well done. Very atmosheric and misty looking. The sky feels so real.

    • Thanks..I’m just now posting this though done in March…I had a 7 x 10 block with w/ 10 sheets left and usd the whole thing up within an hour. By the time I did this painting I was feeling very Zen like in my approach. The lt. green landscape was one quick wash with very few strokes. The sky a few wet in wet strokes. It was fun. I believe it was all done with a #4 Isabey petite gris squirrel mop.
