An abstract …as hurricane Alex struck, heavy rains flowed down hill sides and across fields of wildflowers, swelling dry creek beds.  (15X22)

  1. Full of movement and emotion. In Indiana our terror is tornadoes.

    • Although the coast suffers w/ hurricanes, inland they bring much needed rain and create lots of whitewater rivers for kayakers. We get bad tornadoes here … about ten years ago the town of Jarrel…30 miles north of here was wiped out…even the pavement on the roads was gone…by a class 5.

  2. Very expressive! I like this rolling, roiling feel.
