In March a few Austin painters met up in San Antonio to paint the Mission Conception, one of the Missions in the San Antonio National Park.  These are a National Treasure!   While the other artists focused on capturing the entire structure, I focused on the bell tower.  Perhaps I chose this subject because I was able to remain in the shade.

  1. Hey, Robert,
I think this is my all-time favorite of yours. Love the solid blocks of color and abstracted shapes. So cool.

  2. I like the paint work and the sense of mass. Excellent.
