Monday Morning, Paris

My train arrived from Lille at Gare du Nord early.  I walked the several miles to the river and then more miles along the left bank past the Musee D’Orsay, which I visited awhile later (Wow!), continuing on to the Eiffel Tower.  Paris was empty.  I had the city to myself.  Well, there was this couple sharing a park bench. 22 X 30.

  1. What a wonderful adventure in the City of Light. Enjoy and keep up the great work, Robert. Cheers.

    • HI Baron,
I hope things are going well for you. We really ought to go out for a painting session when Austin weather cools. Would love to catch up with you, Robert

  2. Beautiful work. Enjoy your stay. If you happen by the B&B, Jardin d’Alix in Lille. Please wish my friend Alexandra (the owner) “hello” from me (Jane Anderson Frederick). She is one of my oldest friends from childhood in France. She’s bilingual, so no worries communicating.

  3. Nice.

  4. love the colour and intensity of the shadow in the foreground leading you into the painting.

  5. This brings back so many memories of my travels in Paris so long ago. Lovely 😊
